PEN Flanders is proud to present seven authors: Adnan Adil, Nisma Al Aklouk, Alhadi Agabaldour, Zuher Aljobory, Hazim Kamaledin, Majid Matrood and Abduallah Maksour. They all live in Flanders and Brussels and write in Arabic. Also featuring: Joke van Leeuwen and Annelies Verbeke. This film was recorded during the rehearsals for the première of OORDEN EN WOORDEN in theatre Tutti Fratelli, Antwerp, October 2015. PEN concerns itself with freedom of expression and the freedom to write in international contexts.
